Man United finish 6th
After finishing 2nd last season, Man United fans may have laughed if you told them they would end their 2018/19 campaign in 6th-place.
But, in the end, the Red Devils went on to drop a staggering 15 points from their 2017/18 points total, with only relegated Huddersfield having experienced a worse drop-off.

The Red Devils would also be knocked out of the Champions League in the quarter-finals, the League Cup in the 3rd-round and FA Cup in the 6th-round.
After a frustrating season of football, some United fans have been voicing their anger towards certain players.
After their 2-0 loss to Cardiff yesterday, a video emerged showing a small number of Man United fans shouting at Paul Pogba.

Sanchez apologises to fans
While most United players had disappointing seasons, Alexis Sanchez had one of the worst.
In 20 Premier League appearances this season, Sanchez scored just one and assisted three.
Since his arrival at Old Trafford, Sanchez has failed to rediscover the form that made him so desirable at Arsenal.
Now, the Chilean has offered an apology to Manchester United’s fans, citing ‘unpredictable injuries’ as part of why he didn’t perform so well this season:
“It was a very tough season.
“The fans are the ones who deserve an apology as they always support you no matter what happens. Personally, I didn’t perform as much as I was expecting because of unpredictable injuries.
“Press and people were speculating of things that were not even true. I was always a professional in all aspects. I apologise to the fans for not be able to achieve our goals. Nevertheless we are Manchester United!
“Players and staff are questioning if we were doing the right thing and if we were giving our best for this football shirt… I’m certain that Manchester United one day will return to be the club, as it was in the old days with Mr. Alex Ferguson.” As quote by ESPN.
