Tottenham & Giovani Lo Celso
Today is reportedly the last day of Giovani Lo Celso’s summer break.
After competing with Argentina at the Copa America, Lo Celso is set to report back to work with Real Betis on Wednesday.
For weeks, Lo Celso has been linked with a possible move to Tottenham.
Indeed, some in the press have suggested that Spurs have lined up a medical for Lo Celso.

Atletico Madrid join the race, Napoli too
This week Colombian international James Rodriguez has begun pre-season training back at Real Madrid.
James is returning to the Santiago Bernabeu following a two-season loan stint at Bayern Munich.
Following Marco Asensio’s injury, plus the exits of Marcos Llorente and Dani Ceballos, it’s now believed that James will stay with Los Blancos in 2019-20.
As a result, Atletico Madrid, who had been linked to James, could now make a move for Lo Celso instead, report Estadio Deportivo.
Atlético Madrid are named as potential rivals to Spurs for Lo Celso after Real Madrid blocked James Rodriguez’s exit. Betis want to bring in a new defensive midfielder and a top quality striker, so it feels like this week will be decisive in Lo Celso’s future.

In addition, Estadio Deportivo note that Napoli are also interested in Lo Celso.
Those Napoli-Lo Celso links have also been peddled by Calcio Mercato, who claimed Napoli have reportedly submitted an offer to Betis for Lo Celso.
Calcio Mercato believe that Napoli are offering Real Betis cash plus Polish striker Arek Milik for Lo Celso.
