Barca & Real Madrid consider loan & compulsory purchase deals

PSG: What’s happening with Neymar?

On Saturday night reports spread that Barcelona were finally gearing up to try to re-sign Neymar from PSG.

Neymar joined PSG from Barcelona two years ago in a 222 million euro transfer.

However, rumours linking Neymar with a return to the Camp Nou have been swirling all summer.

Neymar is back with PSG, however the Brazilian has yet to play for the club this summer.

The forward was injured days before the start of the Copa America, which Brazil won on home soil.

Neymar: Loan & compulsory purchase deal

Barcelona have yet to lodge that offer with PSG for Neymar.

However, according to multiple reports on Tuesday, PSG could be close to agreeing a deal for Neymar.

Spanish journalist Gerard Romero, who works for radio station RAC1, and Ignacio Miguelez are reporting on the same deal structure for the Neymar transfer.

Neymar could leave PSG this summer on loan, on condition of a permanent transfer next summer.

But where will Neymar end up?

Gerard Romero suggests Barcelona could complete the loan and compulsory purchase deal with PSG for Neymar, adding it’s an “important” week for the possible transfer.

However, Ignacio Miguelez believes that Real Madrid could be ready to push forward on those terms.

Indeed, it’s claimed that PSG have already proposed that deal to Zinedine Zidane, who is considering it.

Ignacio Miguelez adds that Real Madrid would agree to sign Neymar next summer for 200 million euros.
