Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale won’t move to China

The BBC’s David Ornstein has broken the news on Sunday.

After a couple of days of reports linking Gareth Bale with a move to China, that deal is now off.

Put another way, as it currently stands Gareth Bale will remain at Real Madrid for the 2019-20 season.

Why has Gareth Bale’s China move broken down?

David Ornstein has claimed that Real Madrid pulled the plug on the deal.

One can only assume that Real Madrid were unhappy with the transfer terms on the table.

Was Gareth Bale happy to move to China?

One has to assume that Bale would have accepted the move to the Chinese Super League had Real Madrid not rejected the deal.

On Sunday, many of the papers in Britain were reporting that Jiangsu Suning were offering Bale one million pounds a week.
