Of course, Liverpool also finished the Premier League as runners-up to Man City.

Following their Champions League triumph, Liverpool have now moved onto 42 major trophies in the club’s history.

The breakdown is as follows: 18 league titles, 7 FA Cups, 8 League Cups, 6 European Cups and three other European trophies.

Liverpool have now moved level with Man United in the trophy stakes.

Man United have won the league 20 times. They also have 12 FA Cups, 5 League Cups, 3 European Cups and two other Europeans trophies.

Arsenal third on 30 trophies

Looking down the list, Arsenal are the third most successful club with 30 major trophies in their history.

The Gunners have won the league 13 times, plus 13 FA Cups. 2 League Cups, and two other Europeans trophies.

Arsenal have never won the European Cup.
